With a particular focus on the role of the state, you&/courses/social-sciences/degrees/ba-criminology-r21/39;ll scrutinise the reasons why certain behaviours come to be defined as ‘criminal’, while others do not. Applying what you have learnt throughout the qualification, you&/courses/social-sciences/degrees/ba-criminology-r21/39;ll also have the opportunity to conduct an independent study on a criminological topic of your choosing.
