Professional biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in Statistics in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. I joined the Open University聽in 2000 having previously been a Lecturer in Statistics聽at Kent University and聽the University of Nottingham. I have a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics and a PhD in Statistics, both from Warwick University.

Research interests

My main research interests are in聽Bayesian dynamic models, multivariate forecasting and聽dynamic Bayes nets.

Teaching interests

I am currently mainly involved in writing our new level 3 statistics module M348 Applied Statistical Modelling. Prior to that, I was heavily involved in the writing of the second editon of our level 2 statistics module M248 Analysing Data and聽our level 3聽statistics module M347 Mathematical Statistics,聽and also wrote part of our level 2 module M249 Practical Modern Statistics.
