Professional biography

Prior to coming to the Law School, Marjan was a Visiting-Research Fellow at , a post-doc for the of Excellence at the University of Oslo, Norway,聽and a PhD聽researcher at the in Budapest, Hungary, where he has also been a visiting professor.聽

Marjan is interested in all things related to international courts, tribunals and quasi-judicial bodies. He is currently trying to see how the research into the independence and accountability of courts in national systems can be adapted to the research into the independence and accountability of international courts. He has a life-long interest in all things space, so recently he has expanded his research into space governance as part of governing the international commons.聽
