This research programmes addresses four key questions:

  • How useful are the learning analytics and learning design data for teachers and students, and how they could be further improved?
  • What is the best balance between learning design and learning analytics to improve retention rates?
  • What is the student&/postgraduate/research-degrees/topic/learning-analytics-and-learning-design/39;s voice in learning analytics and learning design?
  • How can we effectively support teachers and organisations in using learning analytics and learning design?

Entry requirements

Minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and an MA or research methods training at MA level (or equivalent). If you are not a UK citizen, you may need to prove your .
